Particle Behavior Investigation for Different Structures of Hoppers

In this paper, two different kinds of hoppers were proposed. order to investigate particle behavior in hoppers, the discrete element method (DEM) was introduced and soybeans chosen as test material Particle four samples simulated under flow rate. Results reveal that deflection cone greatly affected behavior. After adding hopper, trajectory can be restrained dust diffusion reduced.different distances showed guiding effect on movement.
